Cube Dungeon - Free Prologue / Demo
A downloadable demo for Windows and Linux
You awaken in a mysterious, dark dungeon with no memory of how you got there—or why. Trapped among endless corridors, locked doors, and swarms of monsters, your only goal is clear: survive and uncover the secrets of the Cube Dungeon.
This is an action-adventure RPG played from a third-person perspective. It blends classic role-playing elements with unique mechanics and rare twists, wrapped in a handmade old-school art style. Dark chambers, glowing treasures, and a lone survivor struggling to escape—every step takes you deeper into the unknown and closer to exit.
Feaures
- Random Map Generation – every dungeon is freshly created as you play, delivering unpredictability, a sense of chaos, and the thrill of being lost. No two runs will ever feel the same.
- Item-Based Progression – Instead of leveling your character, your skills grow as you master different magic tablets and items.
- Stackable Power System – Collect and stack items of the same type to boost their strength and unlock new potential.
- Belt-Hands Inventory System – Items must be equipped in your hands to use them, adding tactical depth and a touch of hardcore survival.
- 20+ Permanent Upgrades – Invest in lasting improvements for your character, even if you die. Progress is never completely lost.
- Life Collecting System – Discover ancient wall signs to gather fragments of life and expand your maximum life number.
- Unique Trader Economy – Spend coins and three types of collectible souls, each with different rarity, to buy upgrades, consumables, and powerful items.
- Variety of Enemies – Face 5+ enemy types, each with distinct combat styles and custom AI behaviors.
- Treasure Chests of Different Tiers – Four grades of loot chests with rare and useful rewards.
Play Your Way
Choose your path: play casually and explore the dungeon at your own pace, or push yourself into hardcore hell with higher difficulties. Experiment with different builds, from classic skill-focused playstyles to investing heavily in permanent upgrades. Forge your own escape story—one run at a time.

Just download, unzip and run exe file for Windows ( sorry I not covers the certification from windows since original game in Steam, so you may see some warning).
Build for Linux - not tested, since my old Linux PC is very old and tired.
Known issues:
- please inform if you use PC older that 2014 (+-), since it's not maintain Vulcan and game will not starts. If I will have at least 1 such request I will create build for OpenGL and post it here. It will have limited functionality since I use some advanced features which works only with Vulkan, sorry for that guys.
